Our story
Here is Amardeep (Colonel Amardeep Singh, Sena Medal) aka AD, who has recently taken pre mature retirement after 25 glorious years of service in the army, infantry to be precise. An ex NDA (82nd batch), i was commissioned into my battalion in June 1993.
I have seen active service in the challenging areas of Jammu and Kashmir (three tenures, including one at Siachen Glacier), North Africa ( As a UN Peacekeeper) and Manipur, where I commanded my battalion for two years.
I have been a weapons instructor in the Infantry School , a company commander at the Indian Military Academy and also a senior instructor at the prestigious Army War College.
my aim is to present to the young men and women a realistic image about life in the army and mentor them in making armed forces as a career….
